The Imperial Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, Drove along the street in the harbor district with escorts. The Ships Ayumi had arrived. It carried some of the riches that had been plundered or surrendered by the Chinese goverment.
2 tons of silver are unloaded along with the finests silks and lots of tea. These would be sold and the money would be lended to the most succesful companies.
Mitsubishi has begun building a river rouge size factory that will be used to produce cars that will be called "Type 14 MB" but the cars that will be produced are acctually exact copies of American T fords.
The newly founded Nakajima company has begun making a factory outside of Tokyo to make motorcycle parts.
Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. Has taken the largest loan which will be used to make large steel mills in Japan and mines in China.
The army and navy have placed orders for the Type 14 light mobile mg. Which bears much resembleance to the Frenh Chaucat guns.
Some other companies have taken over the administration of silver and copper mines in western China especially in the south. The extreme cheapness of Chinese larbourers results in that the goverment will use a portion of it's income tos sustain thousends of workers that will lay railroads to the Japanese owned mines and make a wast net of defensive positions and lines.

I am looking to buy a large number of motorcycles, lets say an initial amount of 20,000 with the option to buy that many again in six months time. I am willing to pay cash, but only upon recieving the finished motorcycles.

Reply To Afghan Telegram:
Not enough motorcycles are ready to meet your demand, but we can offer you up to 500 motorcycles, And in a months time when the Factory is operational 850 motorcycles a week.
Japanese opium and heroin profits are funding the recent boom in Japanese industries. But the Chinese will also get some of the profit. About 5.000.000 Chinese have been hired to provide manpower for the various projects that are now underway. Some are working on the new railroad, others are making defensives at good defensive points using shovels , but many are supplied with earthmovers, trucks & tractors. The defensives mostly consist of small but yet strong bunkers which are placed in such manner that it would be virtually impossiable to over run them. (have very steep walls beneath them where lots of mines and punji sticks have been deployed (and also so that infantry would have a clear view to the walls of the Machine gun bunkers (which will have iron hatches.) Also Emblacements for Trench mortars will be provided. and fire bunkers for small artillery pieces along with emblacements for larger pieces. Small holes on the outer walls of the man made hills will be manned by men with Chaucat guns.
With the help of the Chinese goverment The Japanese are being portrayed as the saviours of China from barbarians. And the Japanese are just protecting the Chinese people from unfair treatment. ( ;D)
Back in Japan more ship with all sorts of precius gargo from China are arriving evert day. The Japanese people are encouraged to invest in the heavy industries that have been on the rise.

The Emir looked at Japan's terse response. Unexpected, hardly. This is why he arranged for payment on delivery. However, there had to be some response to keep Japan in check. He calls the economic minister into his office.
"Start paying decent wages and fixing up some of the working conditions in the south and east of Xinjiang province, and at any Alamut Industrial sites in China outside of Xinjiang." "But sir. We're paying most of them to not produce anything already." "Yes, I know, but I have my reasons." "But what about the board of directors." "What about them? They are still drunk on new profits, new profits that I gave them. For right now they are complacent enough that such a minor order should go unnoticed."

The new oil fields in China are providing the empire with sufficient oil and the steel mills in China are turning out steel for the factories in China that produce Chaucat guns & Arisaka rifles
Due to the strange lead embargo the Japanese companies buy more lead mines in suthern China to gain a secure source of lead.
The goverment has for long engaged ina secret plan, and has been operating Mercury mines (There is at least mercury there but I don't know how it's gathered)
Stacks of Partisan weaponary that had been stockpiled in Japan is being moved over to China and will be stored in heavelly protected arsenals.
Many of the rubber plantations are being replaced with more profitable Popy plantations, with the suddendecline of quality of Afghan poppies.

CLASSIFIED Report on Econmic Reform in China
Mineral Aquisitions in China We have snatched up the key remaining metal mines around Xinjiang province. The exception is in the area of lead where Alamust Industrial has gotten into a land grabbing war with Japanese corporations.
Manufacturing Our own motorcycle and other civilian goods have begun to roll out. They are being sold with a very slim profit margin, but because of the price the Chinese are snapping them up. We have yet to see a Japanese response. We have bought most of the iron and steel at below market price, which itself has taken a small decline. This is being played off as a market correction however.
Agriculture We made some money off of the rubber market, but had we waited any longer we would of lost it all. Our agents report rumors that new Poppies may come on the market soon. We are trying to track down the source.
Labor A mercenary going by the name "The Moorish Hound" has helped up establish labor groups within China. They are distributing literature as we speak, and have begun grass root efforts to recruit Chinese workers. They have high support within our own sphere of influence and we are leveraging this leg power to convince chinese workers in the Japanese sphere of influence to join.
OOC: It is doubtful that many Chinese workers would willingly work to grow poppies. It is an open secret that it is a tool of subjication used by foreign masters.

A bounty of 5000 teals is set on "morrish hound's" head.
OOC:
The Chinese do not have permission to sell their mines to non-Japanese, but only to Japanese companies. And they cannot hold such a thing as mineral rights.
And I'll let Japanese labor make the poppies, to prevent sabotage.

In Yunnan 3 Factories that produce parts for the Japanese Model 41 (1908) 75mm Infantry Gun and the Japanese Model 38 (1905) 75mm Gun. Factories cannot keep up with the miners yet (but they will in a month) so a single factory wil be devoted to making musket balls out of iron, these will be used for huge ass glaymore like traps that The Japanese have decided to go with.

The cargo ship left the port. The generals looked on. Minutes before the loading of the coal was done and it was headed back to Greece. As it made it's way to the edge of the port. A torpedo flew at it. It was engulfed in flames. It sunk in minutes.
Telegraph lines are buzzing with the stories of U-boat attacks on other Indochinese vessels.
Secret IC:
These where attacks by Greeks only the single cargo ship was attacked and the 3 man crew was not hurt thank god. The submarines will now start to attack japanese ships.

In the confusion created by the week of blood shed across the region, a skilled, mercenary spaniard smuggles weapons and equipment south, into neighboring Chinese territory. Pamphlets are sent out about the evil of the Japanese ruling class, the language is taken straight from Marx and Engels. Guns and explosives are distributed to local rebel groups. Plans to assinate Japenese work bosses and set fire to the young poppy fields are set into motion.
