Construction of Defences:
With the face of war changing throughout the world, Persia will follow suit. The construction of trench networks will be picked up where the last weaker Shah left off. The trench networks main focus are to be concentrated on borders with politically active countries. As of now, main construction will occur on the northern and western borders.
Phase One: 100% Construction of Trench Network The construction of trench networks along the Persian borders. To protect troops during artilery strikes, underground bunkers will also be included. Along the lines several emplaced heavy guns will be entrenched to combat armored vehicles. Lines of barbed wire will liter the fields.
Phase Two: 100% Construction of Barracks The construction of barracks somewhat off the line, out of intial artillery range. This will allow large quanities of men to garrison the borders, and quickly make it to trenches if they so require. Along with the barracks, several airfields will be constructed.

The 1st and 3rd Persian Armies have begun to take up postions in the many various bunkers completed along the Afghani-Persian border. The 2nd Persian Army waits further inland. Artillery guns have moved into prebuilt entrenchments.

OCC: Tanks? Where? Can I have some?
As for my numbers, they are logical enough. I think my numbers are very much fair. The current day population of Iran is about 70 million people, and while I'm not sure what it was in 1914 (if anyone knows link me) but even if it was half what it is today, 35 million people could support an army that large.

OOC: There's your problem right there. The population of Iran in 1914 was 10,890,000. Not the 35,000,000 as you claim.

Persia has enacted a draft of massive proportions. All able bodied men, ages 16-39 are being required by law to report to recruitment centers. There, lottery will determine who will be drafted. All consumer good factoties are shifting to war time plans.
Persian trenches are finally completeld, and construction equipment is being withdrawn. Persia now boasts the strongest and most elaborate trench network in the entire world. Anti-Tank guns are being wheeled into postions from storage.
