It was a somwhat chilly day out in the open seas. Admiral Dragulescu, admiring the Atlantic Ocean, not many Romanians get to see the sight of it.
"Sir, Spotters in the tower have just gotten sight of a medium sized fleet heading our way from 3'o clock." They are about 1000 yards away. Good thing there is not that much fog right now or we would have never seen it," Lieutenant Bolonev said as he ran into the control room of the Gorkha.
"Pass word onto the other ships, have the Storkys turn 90 degrees toward Portugal. Get the destroyers back near the transports, tell the Monstro to protect the transports at all cost, those machine guns on the transports won't do much damage to much anything, unless what you see is a Man Of War Fleet," the Admiral replied.
"Yes sir morse is being sent now."
"After that send out another message. Hopefully the unknown ships are spying into our messages, direct this message to the unknown ships, 'This is Admiral Dragulescu of the Rumanian Navy, identify yourselves. Any action taken upon this convoy will be thought of as an act of war and will be acted as such, Rumania is part of the Berlin Pact, tread with caution.'"
The Hammersung, Teretkan and Norfty Armored Cruisers slowed their push through the water and started to turn toward portugal. The Destroyers came to an abrupt stop with the transports. The Gorkha joined the Cruisers and turned at a 90 degree angle towards portugal. Battle stations were readied and Side guns were turned toward the advancing fleet. If they wanted to take on the Rumanians, they will pay hell for it...
