thats not what im complaining about. im saying that he should have more casulties from the shells. i wont post until he fixes his losses. and your right my mistake about my forces. but my 250,000 forces are ready but they are poorly trained. OOC: In WWI, shore bombardment was more of a morale breaker than a real threat to ground units. It wasn't effective at killing enemy troops. Though, maybe Italy should add +100 casualties.

Don't move back to portugal, go help us attack their ports and totally destroy them. They will just build/buy a new navy.

ooc: just so you know it wasnt just ships but oh well dont care any more.
as the troops fall back to their last point they begin to take cover behind anything they can and dig trenches. they fire at the italian troops with 2,000 machine guns and M14s begin to fire again at the italian forces. this time artillery would not go weak. 10,000 shells were fired.
All Aircraft in Austria had taken off with grenades and flew towards the italians they would drop grenades and hand held bombs on the Italians. after the bombs were droped they would mow down the italians with machineguns. although morecauslties were taken from the italian forces Austrian troops were still fighting fericely. as the poorly trained emergency troops were rushed to the frontlines all Austrian artillery were sent with them.
About 6 miles from the border austrian troops held their line untilreinforcements arrive. with better coverage then the italians they should beable to mow them down. mean whial a force of 90,000 troops have begun to flank the italians secretly. they begin to move all the way around until the italians were surrounded. when in their positions they begin to march into the combat zone to attack the italians from all directions.
Casulites: 6,096
total Soldiers remaining ( well trained): 47,000

WE are going to send 15 planes over to Italy. These are old 2 seaters that have no combat capability. Except for the rear mounted machinegun. The reason they are going is to give the Prime minister a safe feeling and so that if Sparta falls we have some sort of military left.

If the invasion of Italy continues; the German Army will intervene. Austria Hungary, you are no longer an ally of the German Empire. The German Government will defend it's ally; Italy. If you do not turn your forces around, we will turn them around for you. How ever, the German Government is not obligated to defend Sparta. What you do to Sparta is your dicision and the German Government will not defend Sparta. How ever, we will defend Italy.

The Austrian government has already offered peace to Italy. Although they have not yet agreed we feel that this war shall end shortly. but if Peace is denied by the Italians then the war shall carry on. We will not allow italian troops inside of Austria Hungary.

OOC; 90,000 men just suddly appear on my flank? bullshit. You didnt even START with 90,000 men!
Your peace demands are outragous. The war will continue to you heed MY demands.
Italians continue the assault, easilly overwhelming the small Austrian forces, but taking more casulties due to heavy MG fire. Artillery is being set up to counter balance this.
Casulties: 6130

Five of my planes take off and land in Northern Italy. They then fly over Austria-hungry troops and report positions backto the Italians.
My 4 destroyers will sail up towards the Austria/Italian boarder and shell the austrians.
My other 10 planes will commence flying over the ocean and shooting at astrian ports to keep them closed.

As the trenches are finished more machine guns be gin to mount and began to fire. more planes took off with handheld explosives and machine guns. with the Austrians with the advantage of cover from trenches they should beable to push back Italian forces with minimal casulties. more artillery has been fired at the italian forces and more troops are beeing sent to the Front lines. 5,000 well trained troops have been sent to reinforce positions. ( i already have them so dont accuse me of sending what i dont have.) Many Austrian troops lost their rifles and went to use Machine guns insted. a total of 20,000 machine guns have been implaced and fired at the italian troops.
Artillery had launched an additional 10,000 shells and M14 howitzers have been sent to the front lines. with a total of 49,000 troops have taken arms on the Western Front.
Casulties: 2,509

OOC: Where did you build those 20,000 machine guns? That seems to be far, far, to much for Austria in this timeline.
